Golf Card

Ok after much fiddling around I have now worked out how to get photos from my phone to the PC, as my new laptop neither has infared or blue tooth, I have to resort to transfering via cable which is going to be a pain, but never mind. Here is a card I made just before xmas the speck was golf and dad. I think this turned out quite well!b The tee image and sentiments were printed from the internet and I used my martha stuart punch and my new nesties, the grass I done by hand.

I'm back and blog candy

Yeh I'm back, finally got my new laptop so I'm back in the land of blogging and just in time to share a great candy give away from Paul at Crafty Blogocks, Paul is giving away some Sizzix Box kits and its not just one set but 1 each day for 5 days, you need to pop over and see the great projects Paul has been making with these. Although maybe I shoudn't have entered the draw as I could get addicted and have to buy some dies myself (do they work on the cuttlebug?)

Hopefully you have all had a good christmas and santa was good to you, we are just getting ready to go to MIL for another round of food, not sure my waistband can take it!

WOYWW

Ok its that time of the week again, and as you know my 'puter is unwell (actually its terminal!), so no picture from me today so I will give you a run down of my desk!!

Ok we have the usual off cuts of card that seem to congregate in every corner and every drawer I have, I have a 3/4 finished easel card in a golf theme will show you that when I can, excitingly I have not 1 but 4 new packs of nesties that I treated myself to out of the money I have earned this month for xmas cards; they only arrived yesterday so not had much of a chance to try, there are the usual stamp pads, I have started another card for a golden wedding, my swiss dot embossing folder and lots of off cuts of ribbon, my super duper tape gun and just some of the usual bits and pieces.

Off to hockey now, will be back later when H has gone to bed so I can use her computer and have a nosey around your desks.

Quick post

Just a quick update, I'm not going to be around much for at least this week. My computer has finally given up on me so relying on DD going to bed early so I can pinch hers!! Santa did briefly come to our house today as I bought myself a new laptop, but returned it later in the day when I discovered it had no disc drive; I reserved it on line and went to the shop picked it up so didn't get a chance to look at the display one; it was only when I got out my discs to download my internet software that I discovered the missing element!!! It turns out that what the shop was advertising as a laptop was actually a netbook so manged to get a refund, but this now means I am back to square one looking for a laptop within my price range!!!!

Birthday Cards

Good morning, as I have been bit neglectful recently showing you what I have been doing I thought I would share a couple of cards with you that I made for my MIL to her sister and niece. As you can see I finally managed to ink up one of my new hero arts four dolls stamps and not sure you will be able to make it out but on the other card I have used my dandelion stamp. Sorry about the terrible photos I've come to the conclusion that the camera on my new phone is rubbish, I was going to break out the normal camera but as usual after trying 6 different sets of batteries they are all dead; not sure if anyone else has this problem but everytime I get what I think is a new set of batteries out the drawer I discover they are actually the flat ones the kids have taken out of something and swapped them for new; they never seem to just put them in the bin, I now actually taken to hiddeing new packs when I buy them but they still find them eventually.

Off to do the last of my christmas shopping now (I hope). Then this afternoon we shall go and pick a christmas tree, my DH will then spend all afternoon putting up the lights on the outside of the house, then hopefully it will start to feel like christmas.

Good afternoon, its that time again. Now I am showing my desk but its not very creative its actually just a mess! I'm going to have to tidy it in a minute as I have 3 cards I have to make this evening and there is just no way I'm going to be able to do it with all this clutter.

For those eagle-eyed amongst you my tweezers have turned up, now why on earth would i keep them in a drawer in my bedroom when I use them for crafting, I suppose I can't moan that he tidies up!!!!

That it I'm off for a nosey!!

Birthday Cards

Hi guys sorry I haven't been around much, I'm up to my eyeballs in orders for the next two weeks, and my computer is slowly dying I hoping to get a new one soon (hint hint).

I thought whilst the battery is holding a little bit of power I would share a card I have made with you its very simple but quite cute!

I've used some paper from my stash, a cuttle bug bloom dots folder, and a cute elzybells teddy stamp.

WOYWW

Good afternoon ladies, its that time of the week again, and WOYWW is actually celebrating a mini birthday as its been going for 6 months now. I thought I would photograph my desk from a different angle today mainly because the other side is actually quite tidy and all the interesting bits are on the side I have pictured. As you can see I'm still doing christmas cards and am getting pretty fed up with them now the reindeer images on my desk have been coloured and ready to mount since July (opps!), the stamps you can see are new Hero Art ones, I bought a few weeks ago and still haven't managed to open the packet never mind ink them up, I've left them there as an incentive to get the christmas card done as I am going to use them for a birthday card later this month.
