Anyone would think I'm out working instead of lazing around, why? Cause each week my post showing my desk gets later and later! Theres not much on my desk to be honest SU caty is still there, new (cause the post man only just bought it) is the lush wool that I am going to use to knit a scarf for my friend, its a lovely wine colour with cerise felt bobbles on the edging - thats my task for this afternoon it should only take about an hour n a half.
For those interested here is the scarf I knitted from the wool on my desk.
Thank you to everyone last week for your well wishes for my son, I ended up taking him to A&E as his finger kept bleeding so he had it glued and dressed it was actually worse than I thought (thats what i get for letting OH deal with these things!). Main thing is it seems to be on the mend cause he can now play his xbox again!!!!
Off to visit a few desks now
Hugs Pam xx

Glad to hear your son's healing well. Ouch. Love that wool. Think you must be bionic to make a scarf in and hour and a half :-)

Oh, the times that I've said to my two lads 'Oh, you'll be fine, it's just a scratch' only for it to turn out to be a broken collar bone, scratched cornea, broken arm (not all the same child!). You feel awful afterwards, but my two just never made a fuss....
Fab scarf btw - is the yarn a pig to knit with??
Hugs, LLJ @72 xx
That scarf is just lush Pam! Wishing your son a speedy recovery, it just breaks your heart when they get hurt :( £115 for flowers? Think I'd actually throttle my husband....bills need to be paid! lol x
I know what you mean, if I have loads of time I do absolutely nothing. Love that scarf, I have two on the go at the minute, with the Rumba wool, they knit up so fast don't they? I've sold two now and one of the new ones was requested so is already sold!

Wow you are obviousley an experienced knitter! I think it would take me weeks to knit a scarf, infact you've just made me smile as hidden in a drawer somewhere is a half knitted scarf that I started with the help of my lovely gran when I was 7 before she passed away, so, so far that scarf has taken 25 years to be finished :o) I don't think I ever will finish it now lol. Your scarf turned out great and I love the colour x
Your scarf is a beautiful shade of pink. I did one the other year only mine is shades of turquoise and kingfisher - my favourites.
Thanks for dropping in on me. Long time since I was in St Ives, can't remember The Sloop. We used to go in the Lifeboat(?) and one round the back where the locals went, but as that is 20 years ago they probably knocked them both done by now.

A real tidy desk with beautiful wool. Next to all the stamping and colouring, I'm knitting too. Not a scarf, but socks. I think it's because I have cold feet the whole winter LOL. Love your finished scarf. Thanks for visiting me. Bye, Franka
